Position Summary


RLS Machining (RLS), a CMT company, is seeking a General Manager for our 

Omro, WI


location. The General Manager is responsible for maximizing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by developing and implementing strategies to drive quality and financial performance. *The salary range for this position is between $110,000 - $120,000 annually*


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Oversee all phases of manufacturing and equipment operations.
  • Lead and direct Manufacturing Managers/Supervisors, and Maintenance personnel.
  • Develop and maintain programs and processes to drive best-in-class practices pertaining to operational efficiencies, equipment utilization, preventive maintenance, on time delivery, workplace safety, personnel training and development, and operations metrics.
  • Develop partnerships with peers in Quality, Engineering, Product Development, Sales, and Administration to drive alignment of key priorities and create a collaborative work environment across departments. 
  • Manage and improve the abilities of the manufacturing team by developing skills and abilities as part of the company Succession Planning process. 

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills


  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or equivalent education and experience.
  • 7+ years of previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Significant CNC Machining experience.
  • Strong Six Sigma & Lean background
  • Proven change agent that can lead from the front to drive results.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
