The Role
At SellerX we are growing our Strategic Finance Team and now we are looking for a FP&A Analyst to join our team. As part of the Strategic Finance Team you will report into our Senior Finance Manager. The primary purpose of the role will be to drive analysis for the brand management, marketing and supply chain teams. You will produce financial forecasts for our brands (from top to bottom line) and help provide strategic guidance through actionable analyses of the financial and operational performance.
Your Responsibilities In Detail
- Work closely with all departments across the company to gain a deep understanding of our brands and produce high-quality financial forecasts and analyses
- Support the forecast process for your brands and prepare in-depth analysis to challenge assumptions and propose solutions
- Dig deep into the numbers and uncover ways to improve our unit economics
- Produce and present analyses of financial and operational performance to support decision-making across the company
- Prepare P&L scenarios for new launches, expansions or other initiatives to grow our brands
- Engage with BI and engineering to build automated reporting and forecasting
- Challenge the status quo and drive change through data and analysis
To join our team, you bring along:
- Strong understanding of financial and management accounting principles and concepts
- 2+ years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance with strong commercial partnering background
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Finance based modelling skills
- SQL knowledge preferred
- Experience working with PowerBI (or similar data visualisation software) and data-models
- Open-minded, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build trust and partnerships easily
- You have a Finance, Business, Accounting or Economics degree
- Ecommerce or FMCG related experience is preferred
