The Director Pricing & Demand Planning plays a pivotal role in driving and scaling the business across the SellerX group. We are looking for a highly analytical, customer focused, business savvy, and hands-on leader who is experienced in building and executing pricing and forecasting strategies and models (or alike) in a highly dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Pricing Strategy:
  • Full responsibility for building, communicating and executing a pricing strategies that can be applied in a multi-brand multi-channel company like SellerX
  • Translate strategy into processes, models and tools to drive business impact
  • Pricing Models:
  • Lead the development of new and enhancement of existing pricing models and tools
  • Guide the team on conducting tests and build processes to incorporate learnings into the development process
  • Demand Planning:
  • Full responsibility for the end-to-end demand planning process for the entire SellerX Group
  • Build and improve models and tools to enable more accurate demand forecasts 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Orchestrate the work of cross-functional teams, including data science, engineering, supply chain, operations, brand management, legal and marketing
  • Influence other teams' roadmaps to reach your goals while also partnering with external parties to enrich our capabilities
  • Performance Metrics and Analysis:
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly analyze the performance of pricing and demand planning
  • Utilize data analytics to identify new pockets of opportunity 

Your Background


To join our team, you bring along 

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Physics or related field; MBA is a plus. 
  • 10+ years of experience in modelling business problems using statistical models and alike
  • Proven track record in translating strategy into production models while partnering with technical and non-technical teams
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record to inspire and mentor a high-performing multi-layer international team 
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in pricing and/ or demand planning in a fast pace environment such as ecommerce
  • Experience with SQL and coding languages such as Python are a plus
