Job Description


This role reports to the SVP, CRM & Analytics and is responsible for supporting effective delivery of services from the Analytics team to various stakeholders across the EBG organization. The Sr. Manager Analytics Delivery, represents the capabilities and activities of the Analytics team to internal clients and communicates the team’s requirements to EBG technology groups to drive enablement of additional capabilities. The right candidate will exhibit three key skill sets

  • Understands the fundamentals and best practices of website data collection, database architecture, statistical analysis and effective reporting and can articulate them to audiences with varying related experience.  
  • Is a master “translator” who excels at transforming business requirements into functional or technical analytics specs and translating technical (analytics) requirements into functional specifications.
  • Thrives on project organization and attention to detail, is a go-to resource for project timelines, status and QA
  • Responsibilities:

    • Submit development / implementation requirements on behalf of the Analytics team to various EBG technology departments to enable new data collection, reporting or analysis and address breakages; and conduct UAT on deliverables
    • Triage Analytics team Jira ticket queue - review requirements for completeness and feasibility, work with requestors to refine requirements, assign tickets, monitor progress, update prioritization based on business / stakeholder feedback, assist with QC/UAT
    • Maintain testing / optimization roadmap and calendar – prioritize requests, recommend and initiate testing, track progress and results
    • Work closely with the Product and Project Management teams to understand business and technical context for Analytics projects, anticipate upcoming needs and challenges, share analytics best practices and aid in expediting analytics implementation

    Qualifications


    • Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 7+ years of relevant work experience
    • 4+ years’ experience with increasing responsibility in project management, delivery management or product management roles supporting data or analytics workstreams
    • Working knowledge of how site analytics platforms e.g. Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics, collect website data, integrate with 3rd party tracking and generate reporting  - for re-commerce environments 
    • Working knowledge of database operations and architecture
    • Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
    • Solid understanding of data architecture and testing / optimization best practices
    • Ability to write functional and business requirements for technical audiences
    • Ability to quickly understand program business objectives and implications for needed tracking, measurement and analysis 
    • Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills
    • Exceptional critical thinking capability
    • Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects and quickly shift priorities based on business needs
    • Proven ability to manage direct reports and laterally influence cross-functional peers
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
    • Must be commutable to an EBG office in New York, Orlando, or Miami

    Additional qualifications (preferred)

    • Proficiency using Tableau, SQL, Snowflake, Adobe Analytics
    • Industry experience in e-commerce, live entertainment, travel or hospitality
