The Vice President of Marketing will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the brand strategy for
SellerX portfolio of consumer brands. This leadership position requires a seasoned marketing professional with a proven track record of driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth in the e-commerce sector.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Brand Strategy Development:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies with a focus on brand building/ awareness for each consumer brand within the portfolio.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the industry.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Orchestrate the work of cross-functional teams, including new product development, Brand management, digital marketing to ensure cohesive brand messaging and alignment with business goals.
  • Work with creative teams to develop compelling and consistent brand visuals, messaging, and positioning.

  • Consumer Insights and Segmentation:

  • Utilize data-driven insights and analytics to understand consumer behavior, preferences, and market trends.
  • Define and segment target audiences for each brand, tailoring marketing strategies to resonate with specific consumer segments.

  • Integrated Marketing Campaigns:

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital advertising, social media, email, and influencer partnerships.
  • Drive customer acquisition and retention through effective and measurable marketing initiatives.

  • Performance Metrics and Analysis:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly analyze marketing performance to optimize strategies and tactics.
  • Utilize data analytics to measure ROI and effectiveness of marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in brand marketing, with a focus on consumer brands.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing comprehensive brand strategies that drive revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor a high-performing marketing team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

SellerX buys and grows Amazon businesses. We are a VC-backed start-up with a growing, diversified portfolio of FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) sellers. Our goal is to make at least 20 acquisitions over the next 12 months, then to further optimize and grow the assets post-acquisition.
