DESCRIPTION
The Finance Manager is responsible for the finances and administration of the Business unit, guaranteeing the preparation of the corresponding reports for analysis and decision-making. Supports the executive management team by offering insights and financial advice that will allow them to make the best business decisions for the company.Responsibilities:
- Consolidate the annual budget of the different business units providing the corresponding follow-up and controlling its execution for its subsequent analysis with actual expenses.
- Oversees the finance department (billing, collections, account payables), guaranteeing its correct functioning and leading the team.
- Ensure vendors are paid, budgets are balanced and financial matters are met.
- Guarantee the preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports used by management for analysis and decision-making
- Support sales team through credit and collection negotiation and building customer relationships.
- Preparing department account analysis reports, as well as providing forecasting and cost modelling analysis, and recommending strategies for cost efficiencies to senior management
- Manage cashflow
- Provide support in special projects defined by the CFO.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
Qualifications
- Must be based in Miami - Fort Lauderdale area. (Adistec doesn't offer relocation assistance for this position)
- Musthave 5 + years experience in the information technology & services world
- Must be Bilingual( English - Spanish) ; Trilingual a plus ( Portuguese)
- Experience 10 years in Risk Management, Markets, Treasury, Finance, or other control functions within a financial service setting
- Bachelor’s/University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or Engineer
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English / Spanish
- Ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with senior leaders
- Excellent project management, coordination and organizational skills
