About the Role
Bevel is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Associate to join our dynamic team and kickstart their career in public relations. As a Junior Associate, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals, contributing to communications strategy, planning, and execution for our diverse portfolio of clients. This role is designed for a proactive individual with a passion for PR and a desire to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Supportive Role in Client Engagement:
- Assist in the execution of communication strategies for various clients.
- Contribute to building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Content Creation and Editing:
- Assist in writing, editing, and proofreading materials, ensuring quality and adherence to writing styles.
- Learn and contribute to the creation of pitches, press releases, and other communication materials.
- Project Coordination:
- Support the coordination of multiple projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with team members to contribute to day-to-day communication program execution.
- Media Relations and Monitoring:
- Learn the basics of media relations and tracking.
- Assist in monitoring media coverage and social media for relevant trends.
- Team Collaboration and Learning:
- Work closely with team members to gain exposure to various aspects of PR.
- Actively participate in team meetings and troubleshoot challenges as they arise.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 1-2 years of PR experience; agency experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Enthusiasm for staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
Compensation
- Job Type: Full-time
- Annual Salary: $50,000 - $60,000/year + Bonuses
