About the Team:
At CookUnity, the Brand and Performance Creative teams are responsible for developing and executing world-class marketing activations and experiences that drive acquisition, brand awareness and earn loyalty beyond reason. These teams set the vision and strategy for the brand and brings it to life with strategic rigor, creative excellence, and cultural relevance. Through insight-inspired, data-informed brand storytelling and experiences, CookUnity’s Creative team will build a category-defining brand loved by an entire generation of foodies.
The role:
CookUnity is looking for a Video Editor who is skilled in Adobe Premier and After Effects to join our Creative team. This individual will work on mostly short-form video, but also long-form at times, developing compelling video content for both performance and brand projects.The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in video production, editing, and motion graphics. This position requires a highly creative individual who is able to work collaboratively and on their own projects with autonomy and an entrepreneurial mindset.CookUnity has a rapidly growing Creative Department that serves both Brand and Performance channels, so you may be asked to work with team members across both functions, but you will mainly be collaborating with performance creative team members.
Responsibilities:
- Creative ideation, production and editing of video content for CookUnity across all channels (paid and organic social media, website, in app, etc.)
- Collaborate with Head of Performance Creative Strategy to determine content direction and details
- Implement creative notes from stakeholder teams
- Ensure content meets brand specs and guidelines
- Identify and implement improvements in video production processes
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest video marketing trends
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in video editing
- Effective communicator and storyteller
- Proficient in video creation/editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve)
- Knowledge of aspect ratios, video encoding formats, hi-res file transfer applications
- Experience with social media channels and content creation
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to manage own projects and work independently
- Creative and willing to experiment
Preferred requirements:
- Production (shooting) ability/interest.
- Experience in performance creative functions
- Deep understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, etc)
