Harbor seeks a
Remote Tagger / Metadata Specialist for short term project with a world-renowned media/entertainment organization. The position is embedded within the client project eco-system and will be primarily responsible for detailed quality control of text entries associated with media entries and media assets. This will be an iterative project with multiple phases that will require exceptional attention to detail as you review materials and subsequent revisions. This is a short-term project (4 months) but a full-time, benefitted, Harbor Global staff position for that duration that can be location-agnostic in the US or Canada but synchronized; as needed; to the timelines and business needs from our client’s primary location for training, meetings, communications, etc. This position requires good organizational skills, data entry skills and a strong attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Use various media archive software tools as well as proprietary system(s) to review, edit and enter media asset metadata
- Perform consistent, accurate and complete data quality review to complex asset and media content metadata
- Research information in support of data entry tasks in order to confirm information (as needed) and also expand on the completeness of the data record
- Effectively communicate and work in a coordinated manner within a larger client project team to meet team project goals, manage expectations and provide feedback on progress / problems, etc. on specific assignments
- Identify problems and obstacles, escalate as needed and participate in problem resolution as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience with media related metadata projects preferred
- Must be self-motivated and committed to meeting all deliverables quality and timeline requirements
- Computer proficient with good data entry and management skills as well as knowledge / familiarity with media content, terminology and workflows
- Prior media library experience and a familiarity with digital media asset tools, workflows, and technologies helpful
- Creative problem solver with excellent organizational, analytical and reporting skills
- Excellent communication and writing skills and capable of effectively communicating with client stakeholders, partners and project team members, etc.
