Position Overview
Vectra is looking for a System Administrator to support and scale the company’s corporate IT infrastructure. The position reports directly to the Director of IT and is based out of our Dublin, Ireland office.
Responsibilities
- Daily support and maintenance of IT systems, including networks, servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, and software
- Manage corporate infrastructure in a hybrid-cloud environment
- Monitor the performance, availability, and security of critical IT services
- Administer the corporate virtualization infrastructure
- Implement IT solutions for different functional groups throughout the company
- Ensure corporate compliance controls are in place and participate in audit activities
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, MIS, or similar field of study
- Experience administering Windows, MacOS, and Linux systems in an Enterprise setting
- Experience administering Azure/AWS/O365 infrastructure
- Proficient in networking and security best practices
- Familiar with industry standard hypervisors
- Scripting with PowerShell, bash, and python a plus
