Lifecycle Marketing Manager

Pendo is looking for a highly motivated and collaborative individual to join the customer marketing & lifecycle team. The Lifecycle Marketing Manager is a critical member of the marketing team who will own the segmentation and execution of marketing programs and campaigns to achieve demand goals and build/accelerate pipeline for Pendo’s sales teams.
To achieve those goals, this role will develop, implement, and optimize email marketing strategies for our organization to help reach and connect with our target audience. This will include email content creation, email scheduling, list segmentation, email delivery, and performance analysis to drive conversions and foster strong relationships with our subscribers. You will also study data insights to optimize campaigns, improve engagement, and drive measurable improvements in results.

Serious collaboration is the key to success for this role. You’ll be working cross functionally to execute on the GTM strategies and optimize all the stages of lifecycle marketing. We run our organization like an agile team. The top priority items are easily identifiable and everyone on the team rallies around those deliverables, and each other, on a regular basis.

Responsibilities (what you’ll do):


  • Own the development and performance of email marketing strategies designed to engage key targets for Pendo’s ICP, partnering with sales, product marketing, marketing operations, integrated, and digital marketing.
  • Own and refine the audience segmentation strategy, monitor and analyze email campaign performance, making adjustments to improve open rates, click thru rate, and conversions.
  • Inform the strategy behind personalization, creative, and content for growth-focused email campaigns across the lifecycle to increase engagement and drive pipeline for the business
  • Analyze product and account data to create segment-specific and customized email campaigns, bearing the holistic customer journey experience in mind.
  • Drive and accelerate up-sell and cross-sell opportunities for Pendo’s portfolio, including Pendo Free, by optimizing funnel performance using email marketing
  • Continuously look for innovative ways to improve the experience we bring to our prospects & customers and optimize our engagements using product data, customer and account team feedback, 
  • Design and execute A/B testing, manage email calendar, implement industry best practices, send times, persona research, and new features to drive performance lift

Qualifications (what you have):


  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in B2B demand generation, with emphasis on email marketing/ audience segmentation
  • Experience with building out multi-channel programs including email, social, digital and web. 
  • A passion for creativity, testing, and optimization – campaign experiments should excite you! 
  • Proven work experience in growing, engaging with, and analyzing the performance of a large email marketing database
  • A love for data and reporting. You live for the data and use it to measure, quantify and improve your programs 
  • Fluent in marketing automation and CRM capabilities with hands-on experience (Marketo, Salesforce, 6Sense experience are a big plus)
  • Thorough understanding of audience segmentation and the buyers lifecycle
  • Extraordinary organizational program management and communication skills 
  • The desire to roll up your sleeves, move fast, and get the job done
  • Experience working in the SaaS industry is a plus

Compensation 


Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.The expected salary range for this role to be performed in: Raleigh, NC is $84,000 - $105,000; New York, NY is $88,200 - $110,300Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
