The Team

The Role
As a software engineer, you will play a crucial role in our Documents & Biometrics product portfolio, focusing on document authentication software. Your responsibilities include enhancing existing solutions, developing new integrations with partners, and helping establish trust in a digital world.
What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain software integrations using a variety of technologies such as: C#, Java, Javascript, SQL, MySQL, and Redis. Our primary application is written in C# though some of our other products utilize other technologies.
- Take end-to-end responsibility for the development, quality, testing, and production readiness of the services you build.
- Collaborate within a cross-functional team to gather and analyze requirements, and contribute to the entire software development lifecycle.
- Utilize CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins, for automated testing, integration, and deployment processes. You should have experience building a Jenkinsfile.
- Manage code repositories stored in GitHub, ensuring version control best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and story refinement
- Attend SCRUM ceremonies (Daily Scrum, Planning, Sprint Review, Retrospective)
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Experience: As a Software Engineer, demonstrating proficiency in an Object Oriented Language (C# or Java preferred) and understanding of databases (MySQL/Redis specifically).
- CI/CD: Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, especially Jenkins, for automated testing and deployment.
- Version Control: Proficient in GitHub for version control and collaboration
- Cloud Competency: Familiarity with AWS for managing deployments and ensuring proper resource cleanup.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Continuous Learning: Keen interest in staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
