Position Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Executive Vice President of Operations (EVPO) to join our leadership team. The EVPO will be responsible for overseeing our company's ongoing operations and procedures, driving sustainable growth, and enhancing efficiency and productivity across all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company objectives and drive sustainable growth.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient and effective execution of business strategies.
- Lead and manage divisional heads to optimize performance and collaboration.
- Develop and maintain operational policies and procedures to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
- Oversee the management and optimization of our fleet, including driving improved customer satisfaction and retention through touchpoint.
- Develop and execute fleet maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance, safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with finance team to develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.
- Collaborate with VP of Customer Experience, VP of Marketing, VP of Sales and other leadership team members.
- Establish and enforce robust safety protocols and procedures across all operational activities.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks.
- Monitor key performance metrics and provide regular reports to the CEO, CFO, and PE firm.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for operational improvement and cost optimization.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and accountability throughout the organization.
- Collaborate with the executive team to align operations with overall business goals and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, laws, and industry standards.
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, employee satisfaction, reduce turnover, and increase retention.
- Serve as a champion for our company people-first culture and values, embodying the principles of empathy, integrity, and respect in all interactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred; or equivalent experience in green industry.
- Proven track record of success in a leadership role, with at least 10 years of experience in operations management.
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to translate vision into action.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Deep understanding of lawn care industry/green industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
- Commitment to integrity, ethics, and corporate responsibility.
- Experience in multi-unit and multi-brand, preferred.
