THE ROLE

Sports is looking for an Internal Brand & Communications Manager to champion our mission of revolutionizing the landscape of high-school sports by aligning the heads and hearts of our team members. Our ideal candidate combines the strategic prowess of a Marketer with the empathetic touch of an employee engagement specialist.Responsibilities: The position you will play Turn motion into momentum: • Inspire team members to embrace purpose, pride, and ownership in their work. • Bring our culture to life in our internal and external employer brand by celebrating our mission, vision, and values.Build Trust and Dialogue:• Serve as a critical bridge between executives and team members, fostering trust in company leadership and their decision making. • Design effective communication channels that facilitate meaningful two-way dialogue and translate company direction into actionable guidance for team members. Facilitate Change Management: • Deliver leadership messaging effectively and orchestrate communication strategies for change initiatives. • Amplify the voice of leadership during periods of change, ensuring understanding and buy-in from employees. KPIs: The points you need to score. • Percentage of employees who feel informed about company happenings. • Impact of change initiatives on employee performance, engagement, and morale. • Average rating and sentiment of employer reviews on public platforms
THE PERSON
Requirements: The skills & training you will need to succeed • Strategic Communication Planning: Ability to develop comprehensive communication plans aligned with organizational goals and change management objectives. • Executive Presence: Demonstrated experience in earning the mandate to provide guidance on communication – from hot-button issues to everyday guidance. • Influential Leadership: Proven ability to collaborate across diverse teams to drive consensus and achieve communication goals. • Exceptional Writing Skills: Proficiency in crafting compelling and impactful messages across various platforms (we need more than someone who can leverage AI) • Hands-On Approach: Strong sense of ownership and accountability for communication initiatives with a willingness to roll up their sleeves. • Resilience and Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and navigate ambiguity (we are in growth phase)#LI-DNIWHY YOU’LL LOVE WORKING AT PLAYON!
