IN A NUTSHELL…
We are looking for an energetic and professional Retail Operations Manager to coordinate and manage our FL Store Operations. The Operations Manager serves as subject matter expert and serves as an operations mentor for Operational Specialist & Assistant Store Operations Managers, by writing standard operating procedures, analyzing data, and identifying opportunities to improve store performance, procuring resources, and ensuring stores adhere to all applicable laws and regulations. In addition, the Operations Manager will conduct operational audits to include; cash, inventory, expense reports, customer and employees while providing weekly/monthly/quarterly recaps.
The Operations Managers will be an expert communicator and closely collaborate with all cross functional partners within the organization.This position is supporting our Surterra Wellness brand. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Communicate operational directives and collect applicable reporting from Assistant Store Operations Managers
- Ensure all FL store operations are carried out according to standard operating procedures
- Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices
- Assist in inventory control and oversee store efficiency of inventory processes
- Write and maintain up to date Retail standard operating procedures
- Ensure FL retail stores remain compliant with all laws and applicable regulations
- Assist in execution of strategic and operational objectives
- Analyze operational metrics and implement improvements solutions
- Identify next generation operational improvements to increase revenue, staff experience, customer experience and overall efficiency
- Perform quality controls and monitor retail KPIs by conducting operational store audits
- Other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU’LL BRING
Required
- Age 21 or over
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Government-Issued Photo ID
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, data capture, analysis, & formulation
- 3-5 years of proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role
- Knowledge of organizational policies and operations management
- Very strong technical writing skills
- Expert attention to detail
- Solution-orientation
- Familiarity with business and financial principles
- High emotional intelligence and social perceptiveness
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Leadership ability
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
- Outstanding organizational skills
Preferred
- Degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time, and perform weighing, counting, calculating, and computer processing operations.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements & tasks.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of time
