Alogent is headquartered in Peachtree Corners, GA, with employees across the United States.Job Overview:The Senior Product Manager, Payments is self-motivated, imaginative, and energetic about building highly competitive payments processing products for SaaS and on-premise deployments. This person assists with driving the vision, direction, and development of the product line and its delivery and execution across the organization. The individual will partner closely with the other members on the product organization, as well as other stakeholders in the organization, daily to ensure what is delivered fulfills strategic needs and most importantly drives a superior payment processing solution for our customers.This position will report directly to the Vice President of Product Management, Payments.This position is hybrid working (2-3 days in office required) from our Peachtree Corners, GAheadquarters.Important Note: Applicants for employment in the United States must have work authorization thatdoes not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in theUnited States and with Alogent.Responsibilities:• Leads the payments processing solution product vision, strategy, and development and collaborates with senior management to create product plans and roadmaps• Proactively defines and drives new horizontal technologies• Analyzes and understands market requirements for current and future features and functionality with current knowledge base as well as by conducting market research supported by on-going conversations with customers and prospects• Customizes and optimizes customer-facing content to aid in driving sales plays and field marketing program, including live events, hands-on-labs, webinars, digital campaigns, etc.• Collaborates with engineering to evaluate and iterate on requirements, ideas and designs.Participates and signs off on product demos.
Ensures product features are well understood and implemented as requested. Reviews product development sprints and evaluates results to ensure deliverables are on track and to address issues quickly.• Develops deep understandings of internal and external customer segments. Drives product and partnership strategy and provides direction that translates into high value features and customer wins.• Ensures products adhere to regulatory and contractual obligations• Participates in sales calls as an SME on payments products• Represents Alogent as needed at relevant industry events• Occasional travel as requiredThe above statements are intended only to describe the general nature of the job, and should not be construed as an all-inclusive list of position responsibilities.Qualifications:• A Degree in a Technology or Business-related field preferred• 10+ years of hands-on enterprise technology product management experience in payments processing or relevant industry experience• Strong executive presence with influencing and cross-functional leadership skills• Adept in Agile development methodologies• Track record of success in driving large, complex projects and breaking down into manageable pieces, developing specifications and executing on schedule• Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple parties to deliver a product• Ability to multi-task and prioritize with minimal direction and assertiveness to change team processes quickly• Skill delivering effective presentations to groups of various sizes• Creative spark – in product innovation, product management, and finding ways to get things done• Demonstrated strength at building relationships, highly motivated, strong sense of urgency, ability to motivate others• Ability to build effective relationships through rapport, trust, diplomacy and tact• Excellent written and oral communication skills with a flair for getting people excited• Strong desire and aptitude to be very hands-on and interactive with internal users• Team player, with proven track record of taking initiative and ownership of responsibilities and deliverablesBENEFITS:
