OpenLoop is looking for an HR Assistant to join our hybrid team in Des Moines, IA. This role will be a member of the Human Resources Team, collaborating closely with the HR Manager.
About the Role
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Updating and maintaining employee records and working closely with the HR Manager to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Assisting with audits.
- Assisting with the onboarding and off boarding processes.
- Assisting with employee engagement initiatives, such as organizing team-building activities, employee recognition programs, and wellness initiatives.
- Supporting data entry and reporting tasks within the HRIS (Paylocity).
- Supporting the implementation and enforcement of company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Assisting with the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Assisting with HR inquiries and management of HR contact systems.
- Assisting with special HR projects as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in Human Resources/People Operations required.
- Stellar time management.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Self-starter and passionate about telehealth.
- Great interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and connect with others.
- Ability to maintain high confidentiality.
- Prior experience in telehealth, startups, or healthcare preferred.
