We are currently looking for a full-time Techno-Functional Consultant with at least five years of recent experience implementing or supporting Oracle Utilities Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) and/or Customer to Meter (C2M).
The key objective of this role is to identify, prioritize, design, and develop enhancements and integrations supporting our client’s Oracle Utilities solutions. You can be based in any US or Canadian major city and work remotely; light travel may be required in the future post COVID.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Serve as a Techno-Functional Consultant for the Client’s Oracle Utilities solution which consists of:
- Oracle Customer Care and Billing (CC&B)
- Oracle Meter Data Management (MDM)
- Service Order Management (SOM)
- Smart Grid Gateway (SGG)
- Oracle Operational Device Management (ODM)
- Collaborate with the Red Clay Lead and Project Manager to support client in identifying, quantifying, and prioritizing enhancements for backlog refinement
- Adopt client’s agile SDLC for Oracle Utilities enhancements
- Design, develop, test and deliver prioritized enhancements
- Support client in the definition and execution of test scenarios and test cases
- Liaise between client IT and business teams to gather and validate requirements and proposed solutions
- Provide guidance, direction, and knowledge transfer (KT) to client IT resources to enable internal development of enhancements
- Advise client on technical best practices and product features
- Support troubleshooting, debugging, and defect resolution for enhancements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years overall relevant experience implementing and/or supporting CC&B/C2M, including consulting or services.
- Utility industry experience.
- Strong product knowledge of Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) or C2M including design, development, configuration, and enhancements.
- Deep understanding of the Meter-to-Cash flow/Billing.
- Strong knowledge of SQL.
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems
