That’s where you come in.We are looking for an experienced automation developer to join our QA automation team that is responsible for ensuring the quality of Pontera Products.You will be a part of building Pontera’s new automation platform and be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests and infrastructure.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Design, implement, and extend automation tests and infrastructure for both UI and API using Python ,Pytest and Playwright
  • Be a technical mentor to other QA automation developers in the team by doing code reviews and give technical guidance for key features
  • Take ownership of new features and implement full automation coverage from design stage to multiple test environments (staging, CICD, production etc.)

  • Analyze test results, troubleshoot and debug failures to give fast feedback on tested versions

  • Work closely with QA engineers, developers and product managers to define and develop automated tests so we will be able to build a stable and scalable automation platform 
  • Reduce manual test processes and effort through automation

REQUIREMENTS:


  • At least 3 years experience in developing Frontend & Backend for test automation projects - Must
  • At least 3 years of experience building automation for SaaS products 
  • Relevant academic degree 
  • At least 3 years of experience in preferably OO languages (Java, C#, Python etc.) - Python is a big advantage
  • Proven experience with UI automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright etc.) - Playwright is a big advantage
  • Experience in CI & CD disciplines and automation tools (Jenkins, TeamCity) - GitHub Actions is a big advantage
  • Ability to define, design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks
  • Experience and understanding in quality best practices and methodologies (sanity, E2E, integration etc.)
  • Strong design, coding and debugging skills (hands-on)
  • Independent, persistent, and a "getting things done" person
  • Proficient written and spoken English
  • Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
