ABOUT THE ROLE
Second Front Systems (2F) is seeking a motivated Senior Director of Revenue Operations (RevOps) to lead our RevOps team. We are a fast-growing and entrepreneurial team working at the convergence of technology and national security. The work will be dynamic and wide-ranging with RevOps supporting the deployment and scale of our Game Warden platform. Revenue Operations is a management system that aligns marketing, sales, and customer experience teams, with inroads to our engineering and product functions, around the revenue cycle to unlock more predictable and scalable organic growth. The Director of RevOps is responsible for leading the team that aligns and builds the systems, operations, and processes that support sales to drive an end-to-end business process for predictable revenue. The director creates and oversees a strategic, holistic way of thinking about how revenue is generated and all of the teams that it affects, including maturing the RevOps team, its processes, and linkages across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Lead and empower our revenue operations team, driving their professional development and growth within the broader Growth (sales) organization
- Provide strategic visibility across all revenue-related functions, enhancing efficiency and driving revenue growth
- Foster collaborative partnerships with sales, marketing, customer experience and other stakeholders to drive alignment and collective success, rooted in supporting customer outcomes
- Utilize and expand data analysis to gain insights into sales funnel flows, content performance, and customer engagement, identifying opportunities to enhance revenue generation, especially in novel areas and as we continue to expand our footprint
- Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue generation, including refining and maturing go-to-market strategies, streamlining the customer lifecycle, and implementing sales improvements that support myriad teams and functions within the organization
- Establish robust processes, workflows, and incentive programs to motivate teams and optimize business performance
- Oversee the creation of reports, dashboards and revenue forecasts to provide deep insights into business health that ensure alignment with overall sales and organizational goals
- Collaborate with senior leadership to analyze, operationalize, and strategize the impact of key business initiatives within the sales organization
Skills You'll Bring to Our Team
- Proven leadership and demonstrated experience in developing high-performing teams within a dynamic sales environment, ideally in a scaling organization within our space
- Track record of driving growth and scalability within the sales organization through effective RevOps management
- Ability to align RevOps initiatives with broader sales strategies and organizational goals
- Ability to foster a culture of transparency, open communication, and accountability within your team and across the sales organization
- Strong emphasis on building relationships and trust with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Extensive experience in effectively liaison between departments and stakeholders to drive alignment and collaboration
- Proficiency in presenting data in a clear and meaningful manner to inform strategic decision making
- Ability to track and analyze metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), translating insights into actionable strategies
- Forward thinking approach, anticipating future needs and challenges, proactively addressing them, and building systems to better sense and act as the organization grows
- Understanding of scaling across geographies within changing sales organization layouts
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep experience in Salesforce and CRM systems, coupled with strong analytical, operational, and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication coupled with strong impersonal and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency in financial modeling, revenue modeling, and sales reporting
- Strong interest in matters of national security and a commitment to the company’s mission
- Ability to view obstacles as opportunities for growth and an approach challenges that couples resilience with creativity

$180,000 - $220,000 a yearThe annual base compensation for this role ranges from $180,000 to $220,000.Perks & BenefitsThis role is full time.
