Position Overview


As a Command Center Technician I, you will be working in a fast pace and challenging environment. You will be responsible for providing remote support and incident management that include quality assurance, troubleshooting, computer photographic evaluation, and performance optimization. This position will require strong attention to detail, computer software usage skills, time management, and problem-solving skills.  This will be part of the Operations Command Center (OCC) supporting the Automated Work Zone Safety Enforcement (AWZSE) program across the United States.Shift start times range from 5:00AM, 6:00AM, 7:00AM EST/8-hour shifts/ rotating on call weekend day coverage (as needed)

Essential Responsibilities


  • Verify that Mobile Speed Operators have followed proper deployment procedures when setting up enforcement vehicle.
  • Adherence to designated work zone safety protocols as designated by each state in the AWZSE program
  • Accurate configuration settings of the computer software programs used with the AWZSE program
  • Work with multiple internal and external teams to provide vehicle enforcement service in a timely manner, while communicating with internal teams throughout the deployment start-up process
  • Review of enforcement vehicle setup and enforcement vehicle computer software settings, including still images and video to ensure the equipment is working properly and captured images are of the highest quality meeting AWZSE state statutory standards
  • Strong incident management skills, with the ability to manage and correlate multiple events to a single incident
  • Adhere to customer-specific procedures and Service Level Agreements (SLA), and team KPI’s
  • Able to recognize issues/defects that will impact implementation and monitoring of enforcement vehicle computer systems
  • Strong customer interfacing skills, helping to manage customer expectations and making appropriate recommendations where needed
  • Ability to work autonomously knowing when to escalate internal or customer issues
  •  Strong multi-tasking skills, including vehicle deployment administration, communications, and follow-up activities

Qualifications


  • Minimum of a High school GED or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Customer Service experience
  • Experience interfacing with either internal or external customers handling escalation issues
  • Strong technical aptitude or attention to detail
  • Basic to intermediate troubleshooting of systems
  • Microsoft office experience with proficiency in Excel, Word, Teams
  • General awareness of computer systems, network management, and SharePoint
