About the role
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Finance Systems Manager to lead and support the development, implementation, and administration of our company’s financial systems. This critical role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead or assist in the development, implementation, and administration of financial systems.
- Research and stay current on financial record-keeping, reporting requirements, and relevant governance regulations.
- Ensure financial systems adhere to these requirements and best practices.
- Establish and document best practices for financial system utilization within the company.
- Train and support staff on financial systems and processes.
- Collaborate with other departments and IT resources to ensure seamless system integration.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
- Develop, document, test, and implement automated solutions to streamline financial operations.
- Provide ongoing support to automate processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Implement and maintain internal controls and segregation of duties to safeguard financial data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day systems issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of Netsuite experience.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in financial systems management or a related field.
- Proven experience with leading or participating in financial systems implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, reporting standards, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with financial system software (e.g. Expensify, Pipefy, ) is a plus.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and training skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
