The BizOps team is focused on solving some of Plaid's most pressing business issues. We are a small team of individuals with complementary skill sets. This role will partner with Plaid’s Network Enablement and Access team, a cross-functional group focused on engaging with financial institutions (from Fintechs to enterprise banks) to build the foundation that powers Plaid’s product and the broader fintech ecosystem. From Open Finance strategy to improving Plaid’s core product quality, you will have the opportunity to impact almost every aspect of Plaid’s business.In this role, you will work collaboratively across Product, Go-To-Market, Partnerships and Ops teams on a variety of strategic initiatives with a direct and quantifiable impact on our customers, partners, and P&L.
You will perform critical data analysis to help inform our strategy and operations, and work directly with our stakeholders at financial institutions and fintechs. The role requires someone who is highly analytical and strategic, approaches problems in a structured manner, and is comfortable with ambiguity.
Responsibilities
- Driving cross-functional initiatives that increase alignment and create synergies across Plaid
- Working directly with financial institutions and fintechs to shape the future of open banking and the broader fintech ecosystem
- Building out processes and success measures to operationalize Plaid’s strategy
- Leveraging data & analytics to identify opportunities to improve our operations and empowering cross-functional stakeholders to make data driven decisions
- Partnering with other teams and functions to improve efficiency, productivity, and performance
Qualifications
- A passion for financial services innovation
- 2-3 years of experience in investment banking or management consulting
- Ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and action plans
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment with a high degree of autonomy
- Ability to build productive and positive relationships across the organization at all levels
- Ability to leverage data to solve challenging problems and inform key decisions
- Strong knowledge of SQL preferred
$123,120 - $168,140 a yearTarget base salary for this role is between $123,120 and $168,140 per year. Additional compensation in the form(s) of equity and/or commission are dependent on the position offered. Plaid provides a comprehensive benefit plan, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Pay is based on factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and skillset, and location.
