About the team/role
The People Experience team at Checkr specializes in designing and implementing programs and processes to achieve long/short-term strategic goals that enhance Checkr’s performance and/or culture. The Sr. People Experience Partner owns a portfolio of programs that align with those goals. They give detailed attention to program strategy, project delegation, and implementation, including content creation and training. They are responsible for change management as well as developing methods for measuring effectiveness.
They will partner with other members of the People team to develop, assess, facilitate, and/or lead programs and processes to support business objectives and strategy implementation. The programs this role will oversee initially include but aren’t limited to Manager Enablement, New Hire Onboarding, Mentorship, and ERGs. This role will also be responsible for learning and development vendor management. To be successful in this role, experience working in the People space and/or People-related programs is required. The ability to create and scale brand-new programs, as well as evolve existing ones, encompasses various skills such as identifying organizational needs, building and launching company-wide learning initiatives, facilitating, possessing strong written and verbal communication skills, and effectively managing stakeholders.This is an exciting time to join the People Team at Checkr! What you’ll do
- Advise on existing programs and create and manage new programs
- Manage the program from concept to execution, including change management, creating content, facilitating training, and leading project management meetings.
- Work with business leaders and across the People Team to understand programming learning and development needs at Checkr.
- Partner with leadership to deliver a comprehensive roadmap to develop the skills, experiences, and knowledge that Checkr employees, managers, and teams need now and in the future.
What you bring
- Experience managing programs/projects for HR teams
- Proven experience building scalable learning offerings for various audiences (employees, managers, senior leaders, teams).
- Experience designing and delivering learning and development programs that align with a broader People team and company goals.
- Comfort working closely with executive leadership by presenting ideas, analysis, and recommendations to them directly and iterating on their feedback.
- Strong stakeholder management and experience partnering with different parts of the People and Business teams.
- End-to-end program management skills from needs assessment, design, development, and facilitation.
