About the role


Title: Recruiting Coordinator

You will report directly to our Chief People Officer.


What does the role look like?


You will play a significant role in managing the logistics of Whop’s interview process from start to finish across technical, go to market, and operations roles and the key systems that power recruiting. You will serve as a trusted partner to all Whop Recruiters and Hiring Managers, acting as the face of Whop’s candidate experience with external candidates.  

  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and scheduling interviews across all open roles
  • Promptly communicate and resolve any interview technical difficulties, scheduling adjustments, or cancellations to candidates and hiring team alike
  • Work closely with the recruiting team and hiring managers to understand open roles and help properly move candidates through the process
  • Maintain our applicant tracking system integrity and log all appropriate information into the system to help track candidate progress from early screening stages 
  • Assist with employer branding efforts over LinkedIn and Glassdoor
  • Manage vendor relationships for key recruiting tools and systems 
  • Assist the recruiting team with ongoing projects and proactively identify opportunities to improve existing processes and/or implement new ones. These projects may include:

  • Tracking and making enhancements to the referral program
  • Measuring candidate experience
  • Maintaining internal recruiting documentation via Notion and Google Suite 
  • Leading recruiting trainings 
  • Supporting employer branding initiatives 

Who you are


  • Passionate about making a difference at work
  • High sense of urgency in responding to recruiters, hiring managers, interviewers, and candidates via Slack, email, and other communication channels 
  • Curious and always learning the why behind the work that you’re doing: you’re not afraid to ask questions, even if they may seem to have obvious answers
  • You go above and beyond and have a bias towards action
  • You’re resourceful and seek to track down answers, anticipate candidate/team needs, document your findings for future reference, and create templates to help standardardize the candidate experience as well as the hiring team experience

Qualifications 


  • Ability to work in person from the Brooklyn office. 
  • A commitment to and track record of delivering high touch, world class service to internal and external candidates and employees
  • Adaptability and openness to learning and incorporating new recruiting strategies, tactics, and processes
  • 1-2+ years experience in Recruiting, HR, Administrative, or Executive coordination
  • Strong calendar management skills and attention to detail
  • A sense of urgency in juggling multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable interfacing with all types of people
  • Experience utilizing Gmail/Google Calendar, ATS systems, and scheduling systems
  • Bonus if you’ve worked with Greenhouse, Gem, Calendly
