🦄Responsibilities:
- Help own all collection’s related efforts in the Philippines, including collecting on top level accounts.
- Oversee and manage the accounting functions and operations related to accounts receivable process.
- Ownership of the monthly A/R close process and accuracy of invoices and cash applications.
- Manage the monthly reconciliation of other A/R-related accounts (such as unapplied cash, deposit accounts, unclaimed credits, clearing, accrual, bad debt, charge-backs)
- Review collection reports to ascertain status of collections and balances outstanding
- Evaluate effectiveness of current collection policies and procedures
- Establish and build business processes and maintain effective workflows and operating procedures
- Collaborate with Account Executives, Customers, and others as necessary to research and resolve customer account and contractual issues
- Support the periodic internal and external audits of the receivables processes.
- Take a leadership role in identifying system and process improvements and enhancements
- Provide excellent customer service while resolving customer inquiries in a timely manner
- Manage and mentor a team of A/R Specialists in the Philippines
- Evaluate and implement process enhancements and efficiencies to support scaling of the business.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting or related areas
- 5+ years of related professional experience in Accounts Receivable / Billing
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate team
- Advance understanding of US GAAP
- Accounting software technical proficiency with NetSuite, QBO, Braintree, and Salesforce desired
- Advanced Excel knowledge including understanding of data structures, data preparation and reconciliation in multiple system environments
