Join our dynamic engineering team as a Data Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining robust data infrastructure. Your Impact:



  • Data Infrastructure Development: Plan, Build, and maintain infrastructure that supports streaming data from multiple sources, such as S3, RDS, and Google Analytics, into a data lake.

  • System Monitoring and Reliability: Ensure the uptime and reliability of the infrastructure and systems, taking full responsibility for the data lake.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.

  • Data Governance and Quality Assurance: Implement best practices for data governance, security, and quality assurance to ensure the integrity and reliability of our data assets.

  • Technological Mastery: Stay current with best practices and utilize a diverse technology stack, including RedPanda (Kafka), Materialize, Iceberg, Dagster, dbt, Snowflake, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Debezium.

  • AWS Proficiency: Leverage strong hands-on experience with AWS to enhance our data infrastructure.

Qualifications:



  • Professional Experience: 4+ years of experience in data infrastructure and data engineering, demonstrating solid skills in data manipulation, analysis, and pipeline development.

  • Database Expertise: Proven experience with NoSQL and SQL database technologies.

  • AWS Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AWS, including designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based infrastructure and services.

  • Software Engineering: Demonstrated expertise in building and deploying production-quality code, ensuring robust, reliable, and maintainable data systems.

  • Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Passion for Data: Quick learner, team player, independent, imaginative, and motivated individual with a passion for data.

  • High-Scale Data Infrastructure: Work on a complex, high-scale data infrastructure supporting our data needs, using advanced technologies.

  • Technological Exploration: Employ various technologies and frameworks to build and maintain our data infrastructure.

  • Expert Team Collaboration: Be part of an outstanding team following the principles of data engineering craftsmanship, creating innovative solutions for unique data challenges.

  • Ability to independently take a concept from research to production.
