About the Role:


Dashlane is currently looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant to join the finance team reporting into the Global Controller. As our Senior Accountant, you will own all day-to-day accounting operations for USA entities, including General Ledger, Month end Closing, Revenue Recognition, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, T&E, Bank Account Reconciliations, Prepaid and Fixed Assets, while ensuring compliance with GAAP requirements and internal financial policies and procedures.You will support the Global Controller on special projects and will interface and collaborate directly with other Internal and external stakeholders to advance organizational goals, while maintaining appropriate Internal controls and ensuring the integrity of the accounting data.

Location:


You will be based in New York, with English as your working language. We offer a hybrid work arrangement, with Tuesday being the company day, where we all collaborate in the office and have a company-sponsored meal, Thursday - a department day for team bonding, and a third day of your choice. We offer relocation support (national and international).

At Dashlane you will: 


  • Own the month end close process for two USA entities (Parent and Operating entity) while working in collaboration with the Global accounting team resolving tasks and accounting matters.
  • Manage revenue recognition process while ensuring ASC 606 compliance and supporting automation initiatives, particularly for B2B and different payment channels.
  • Be heavily involved with B2B operations, invoicing and AR collections.
  • Process vendor and supplier bills, credit card and other bank transactions by coordinating necessary GL recording, approvals, and payments.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations (bank account, fixed assets, other balance sheet accounts) for month end closing.
  • Manage travel expenses, all other reimbursable expenses and compliance with T&E policy.
  • Support tax compliance, particularly VAT and sales tax.
  • Work with Global Controller in the completion of the annual financial audit and any other accounting and tax projects.
  • Create and/or update internal processes documentation on a regular basis.

Requirements:


  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS business model
  • 1+ year of experience with NetSuite

  • Strong GAAP knowledge and familiar with month end closing process
  • Familiar with revenue recognition (ASC 606)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively across multiple teams 
  • Team player attitude and willing to go the extra mile
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, structured and autonomous working style
  • Results driven with ability to organize, prioritize, solve problems and plan workload to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to manage the relationship with different internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with accounting and tax requirements are met.
  • Ability to analyze and provide recommendations for complex accounting issues
  • Strong Excel skills

Salary Range: 


$110,000 - 125,000


in base salaryOur salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of total compensation package that also includes benefits, and other opportunities at Dashlane. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset relative to other Dashlaners. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at Dashlane to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors.
