Sales Internship at Alkira

Role Summary:As a Sales Intern at Alkira, you will have the unique opportunity to explore three critical roles within our sales organization. This internship is designed to provide you with hands-on experience, exposure to real-world scenarios, and a chance to work closely with our customers and channel partners. You’ll be an integral part of our team, gaining insights into various aspects of sales and networking.Internship Details:
- Duration:Flexible, but typically spans a semester or summer.
- Hours:Tuesday to Thursday (flexible schedule while school is in session)
- Compensation:$22 per hour.
Roles and Responsibilities:1. Inside Business Development Representative (BDR):
- Collaborate with the BDR team to identify potential leads and prospects.
- Assist in lead generation, prospecting, and qualifying opportunities.
- Learn about Alkira’s products, services, and value proposition.
- Participate in sales training sessions and workshops.
2. Regional Sales Manager (RSM) - Field Role:
- Transition from the inside role to an RSM position.
- Work closely with the sales team to manage accounts within a specific region.
- Attend client meetings, presentations, and industry events.
- Develop relationships with existing customers and explore new business opportunities.
- Gain practical experience in sales strategy and relationship-building.
3. Channel Account Manager (CAM):
- In the final phase of the internship, become a Channel Account Manager.
- Represent Alkira to our channel partners.
- Collaborate with partners to drive joint business initiatives.
- Assist in partner enablement, training, and support.
- Understand the dynamics of channel sales and partner ecosystems.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for sales.
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn about Tech/SaaS sales.
- Ability to adapt to different roles and responsibilities.
- Desire to explore various career paths within sales.
