Role Summary:As a Sales Intern at Alkira, you will have the unique opportunity to explore three critical roles within our sales organization. This internship is designed to provide you with hands-on experience, exposure to real-world scenarios, and a chance to work closely with our customers and channel partners. You’ll be an integral part of our team, gaining insights into various aspects of sales and networking.Internship Details:

  • Duration:Flexible, but typically spans a semester or summer.
  • Hours:Tuesday to Thursday (flexible schedule while school is in session)
  • Compensation:$22 per hour.

Roles and Responsibilities:1. Inside Business Development Representative (BDR):

  • Collaborate with the BDR team to identify potential leads and prospects.
  • Assist in lead generation, prospecting, and qualifying opportunities.
  • Learn about Alkira’s products, services, and value proposition.
  • Participate in sales training sessions and workshops.

2. Regional Sales Manager (RSM) - Field Role:

  • Transition from the inside role to an RSM position.
  • Work closely with the sales team to manage accounts within a specific region.
  • Attend client meetings, presentations, and industry events.
  • Develop relationships with existing customers and explore new business opportunities.
  • Gain practical experience in sales strategy and relationship-building.

3. Channel Account Manager (CAM):

  • In the final phase of the internship, become a Channel Account Manager.
  • Represent Alkira to our channel partners.
  • Collaborate with partners to drive joint business initiatives.
  • Assist in partner enablement, training, and support.
  • Understand the dynamics of channel sales and partner ecosystems.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for sales.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn about Tech/SaaS sales.
  • Ability to adapt to different roles and responsibilities.
  • Desire to explore various career paths within sales.
