Northstar Response™ will enable clinicians to monitor a patient’s early response to these cancer therapies, by measuring minute changes in their ctDNA, which can reduce ineffective treatments and unwanted toxicity, lower costs, and substantially improve clinical outcomes.BillionToOne is seeking a Director of Recruiting to lead our talent acquisition strategy during a pivotal growth phase. The ideal candidate will drive the recruitment of top talent, matching our ambitious goals with innovators and disruptors ready to contribute to a transformative journey. The Director of Recruiting is a remote position and will report to the Senior Director of People Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
- Manage the recruiting team to ensure best practices in candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
- Partner with executive leadership to align recruitment initiatives with strategic business objectives.
- Develop and launch a comprehensive recruitment training program that equips our hiring managers to support disovcovering top talent.
- Analyze recruitment trends and provide insights and recommendations to enhance talent acquisition efforts.
- Champion the company culture and employer brand to position BillionToOne as an employer of choice.
- Drive diversity and inclusion in recruitment practices to support a diverse workforce.
- Budget management for recruitment activities and resources.
Required experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a leadership role at a high growth start up.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience a BioTech company focusing on Executive and Sales roles.
- Proven track record of developing and fulfilling strategic recruiting plans.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Deep understanding of recruitment processes and candidate selection methods.
- Proficiency with recruiting systems (Greenhouse, Gem, TalentWall).
- Experience working remotely, with high accountability and responsiveness.
- Experience coaching hiring managers and helping them develop strategic recruiting plans.
- Track record of thriving under pressure and deadlines.
