As a result, our enterprise clients see improved customer satisfaction, employee retention and operational efficiency.As the Vice President of Sales at PolyAI, you will be responsible for defining and executing the sales strategy, expanding our customer base, and ensuring revenue growth. You will lead a team of sales professionals, establish strong relationships with key clients, and contribute to the overall success of the company.
Salary: Base up to $200,000 + double OTE + Equity
Requirements
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with PolyAI's business goals and market opportunities.
- Define and monitor sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Continuously assess market trends and competitive landscape to adapt and refine the sales approach.
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the sales organization.
- Provide guidance and coaching to maximize the team's potential.
- Ensure team is enabled on product, industry landscape and internal process
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Understand customer needs, challenges, and pain points to tailor solutions and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring they realize the full value of PolyAI's solutions.
- Work closely with Customer Success to deliver high renewal and upsell rate.
Revenue Generation:
- Drive revenue growth by meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas with strong linearity.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Negotiate and close complex, high-value deals.
- Realize a high participation rate across team.
Market Analysis and Insights:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive developments, and emerging technologies in the conversational AI space.
- Utilize market insights to inform product development and sales strategies.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Implement robust sales reporting and analytics tools to track performance and provide regular reports to the executive team.
- Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize sales processes.
We’d love it if you have:
- Experience selling Contact Center/Customer Experience solutions to enterprise level organizations.
- 5+ years of leadership experience
- Experience with AI solutions in the contact center or customer experience space.
- Experience selling direct to customers and via alliances/channel partnerships.
