Job Summary:
We’re looking for a product marketing manager who’s ready to set a new standard for customer and member experience in the pharmacy benefits management (PBM) industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, project managing, and executing marketing and communication strategies that drive customer engagement, retention, product adoption, and renewal. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and strategic thinking to effectively communicate our value proposition to SmithRx members, employers, and brokers.
You must be comfortable operating in an unstructured environment and learning as you experiment.
What you will do:
- Develop and execute customer marketing programs to increase customer engagement, product adoption, retention, loyalty, and renewal.
- Support account management and member services in writing, maintaining and improving broker, client, and member collateral and communication.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., account management, member services) to gather insights and feedback to inform product marketing strategies and initiatives.
- Ensure consistency across all marketing communication channels. Act as a conduit between sales and account management to ensure teams are leveraging the same or similar materials, decks, collateral and positioning.
- Identify and support the customer success organization in their efforts to educate brokers and clients about the value SmithRx is delivering. Including creating and managing our case study pipeline, creating presentations, drafting emails and service reports, etc.
- Organize and manage client and member content library.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for differentiation. Provide deep customer knowledge across functions.
- Measure and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, using data to optimize strategies and drive continuous improvement.
- Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to inform messaging, marketing strategies and tactics.
What you will bring to SmithRx:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in customer marketing, product marketing, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and content.
- Proven track record of developing, project managing, and executing successful marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making and measure performance.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and building strong relationships across an organization.
- Deep understanding of market dynamics and customer behavior in the healthcare and pharmacy benefits management space is a plus!
- Willing to travel approximately 10% of the time (~a few days every month)
- San Francisco Bay Area, Salt Lake City or Dallas based candidates preferred.
