The Medical Director role will have the critical responsibility of providing clinical expertise and guidance to inform our efforts to deploy care programs to best meet the needs of our clients. In addition, this individual will work closely with our Commercial Team to influence how our offerings are presented externally, and to bring a strong clinical voice to external partnership conversations, and help to identify new care pathways with defined success metrics. Ideal candidates will be driven by a desire to translate their clinical knowledge towards advancing our offerings in the marketplace, as well as someone looking to make a significant impact on healthcare delivery.
This role will require the chosen candidate to possess exceptional curiosity and enthusiasm for solving hard problems.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Interface with clinical health system leaders to understand their needs and ensure that we can deliver care programs that are in line with client expectations and objectives
- Drive the clinical-facing aspects of our sales process, supporting our Solution Consulting and Sales teams, which includes both clinical scoping and defining key and at-risk success criteria tied to Memora’s Care Programs
- Map out client clinical workflows and identify opportunities for Memora to drive value through automation and creating efficiencies
- Internalize feedback and learnings from sales conversations to inform which clinical areas to add to our library of core programs, as well as which content may need to be added to our library or modified to better meet client needs
- Collaborate with our Product Team in the development of new clinical programs and optimization of our current clinical programs and care team workflows
- Serve as an external thought leader on behalf of Memora, helping to spread awareness of our offerings to the broader clinical community
Qualifications (Required):
- Medical Degree (M.D., D.O., P.A., N.P., with at least 5 years of clinical experience as a licensed professional)
- Ability to think abstractly about clinical interventions and care delivery models within traditional and modernized care delivery organizations
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities (e.g. prior experience leading teams or implementing organizational change)
- Deep understanding of the healthcare industry including inpatient and outpatient care delivery, and the developing digital health industry
- Comfortable working across medical specialties including primary care, hospital medicine, specialty and procedural care
Qualifications (Bonus):
- M.B.A. or other advanced-level leadership degree or certification
- Prior health tech experience
- Experience with implementation of health technology and digital health offerings at provider organizations

Memora is committed to the principle of pay equity and regularly assesses compensation across our U.S. work locations resulting in a standard pay range, typically updated each year. The applicable base pay will depend on various factors such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties and responsibilities, and relevant experience and skills. Certain roles have the opportunity to participate in revenue- or utilization-based sales incentives, depending on the terms of the compensation plan and the employee's role.
