Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This internship lasting no more than three (3) months will provide valuable hands-on experience in various marketing functions, including the creation of engaging content, videos, creative assets, and email content.
What you will do:
- Learn how to use the tools that comprise our marketing tech stack (salesforce, pardot/marketo, outreach.io, figma, canva, webflow).
- Collaborate with the larger marketing team on a wide variety of projects and initiatives
- Assist in the development of creative content for social media, email newsletters and our blog.
- Participate in the QA of our emails and webpages to ensure the quality of the programs we ship.
- Produce and edit short videos for the website, social media and other marketing channels.
- Assist with monitoring and reporting on the performance of the company’s pages, social media profiles, industry trends and competitors.
- Help with campaign project management tasks and perform administrative tasks as needed to support the marketing department.
What you will bring to SmithRx:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools
- Experience with video production and editing
- A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
- Previous internship or work experience in marketing, design, or social media a plus but not required
- College students in Associate, Undergraduate and Graduate Degree programs studying the following are encouraged to apply: Marketing, communications, media product or a related field
Work schedule:
We work in a hybrid and onsite environment, and you may be expected to work onsite in the office up to 5 days per week. In-office workdays are determined by the nature of the work and are scheduled by your manager
