Job Summary
Alkira, Inc., a Network Infrastructure On-Demand company, is growing our Sales team and we are looking for a Business Development Representative to be based in London (must be currently located in region when applying for this job). This is a full-time position with great benefits and great career potential. The ideal candidate is able to develop and implement a sales strategy that meets company goals and excels at the following job responsibilities:Business Development Representative Responsibilities:

  • Qualifying Leads: BDRs evaluate leads generated from marketing campaigns to determine if they are potential sales opportunities.
  • Outreach: They reach out to potential clients through cold calls and emails.
  • Company Presentation: BDRs present their company’s products or services to potential clients.
  • Needs Identification: They identify client needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
  • Customization: BDRs tailor product solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Relationship Building: Building long-term, trusting relationships with clients is essential.
  • Business Opportunities: Proactively seeking new business opportunities in the market.
  • Meeting Setup: Setting up meetings or calls between prospective clients and Account Executives.
  • Reporting: Regularly reporting sales results to the Business Development Manager.
  • Product Knowledge: Staying up-to-date with new products, services, and pricing/payment plans.
  • Requirements and Skills:

  • Experience: Work/intern experience as a BDR, Sales Account Executive, or in a similar role.
  • Sales Techniques: Hands-on experience with various sales techniques, including cold calls.
  • CRM Software: Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Analytical Skills: Understanding of sales performance metrics and proficiency in analyzing spreadsheets and charts using tools like MS Excel.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Presentation Skills: Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field is desired but not required.
