Each year we process billions of dollars of payments and provide companies with solutions which help them to save money, automate processes and grow, but we’re only just getting started.In this role you will:

Market Research and Analysis:



  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify growth opportunities and understand the competitive landscape in Kenya.

  • Analyse customer insights, industry trends, and market data to inform marketing strategies.

Growth Strategy Development:



  • Develop and implement a growth marketing strategy tailored to the Kenyan market, focusing on user acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue growth.

  • Identify and prioritise growth channels (e.g., digital marketing, content marketing, partnerships, events, etc.).

User Acquisition:



  • Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns to attract and acquire new users, including PPC, SEO, social media, email marketing, and influencer partnerships.

  • Optimise marketing funnels to improve conversion rates and reduce customer acquisition costs.

  • Collaborate with the global marketing team to align local campaigns with overall company goals and leverage shared resources.

Content and Communication:



  • Create and oversee the production of engaging content that resonates with the target audience in Kenya.

  • Develop localised messaging and communication strategies to effectively reach and engage potential customers.

  • Work with content specialists within the global marketing team to ensure consistency and high-quality output.

Partnerships and Collaborations:



  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with local businesses, industry associations, and influencers to enhance brand visibility and drive growth.

  • Collaborate with sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and maximise the impact of marketing initiatives.

Data Analysis and Reporting:



  • Track, analyse, and report on key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

  • Use data-driven insights to optimise strategies and improve ROI.

  • Share insights and best practices with the global marketing team to contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Budget Management:



  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve growth objectives.

  • Monitor expenditures and optimise spending across different channels.

Skills and Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, preferably within the B2B sector.

  • Proven track record of driving user acquisition and growth in emerging markets, with specific experience in Kenya being highly desirable.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tactics.

  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.

  • Exceptional communication and project management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Swahili and/or other local languages is a plus.
