About the role:
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to take on the responsibility of end-to-end development for our innovative life-saving platform. In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing Carbyne’s life-saving products. Your contributions will extend beyond coding, directly impacting the future of 911 emergency communications and enhancing public safety as we know it today.
Here’s what you’ll be working on:
- Develop an emergency 911 eco-system
- Design, develop and maintain highly resilient services with fault-tolerant and self-healing functionalities
- Build modern, complex Web Apps and UI components.
- Develop our solution across global regions to provide any person in the world the ability to contact emergency services as quickly and effectively as possible
- Enable Carbyne’s business growth by opening up the system to business partners
- Explore opportunities to apply AI technologies to 911 emergency communications
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or experience in an elite intelligence unit.At least 4 years of experience in Frontend development with Angular.Experience with modern backend practices in a microservices environment; Scala experience is a bonus, but proficiency in any backend technology is acceptable.Previous experience in developing sophisticated web applications is a must.Hands-on experience with cloud-based development, especially AWS.Skilled in creating RESTful APIs.Proactive "can-do" attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.Experience with WebSockets is beneficial.
