Maven is looking for a Senior Partnerships Manager who will drive business growth, client satisfaction, and operational excellence through Maven’s health plan and channel partners. The Senior Partnerships Manager will play a critical role in enabling and managing Maven’s ongoing relationships and programs with our key strategic health plan partners. This role will report to the VP of Payer Growth to support a book of business of national and regional health plans with a particular focus on managing the migration of 1,500 National and Key Account clients to Maven’s maternity program from a legacy carrier program.
The Senior Partnerships Manager will be responsible for optimizing how Maven serves our existing channels, working cross functionally across Maven to ensure delivery of the highest level of service to our channel partners and their end customers.
As the Senior Partnerships Manager, you will:
- Develop strong, trusted relationships with the health plan product and operations team and serve as their Maven primary point of contact.
- Have overall responsibility for the enablement of assigned health plan channel(s). Health plan relationships may include ASO and FI lines of business.
- Drive productive client meetings while proactively anticipating client needs and milestones, including leading bi-annual onsite strategy sessions with the client
- Deliver on partnership requests, payer reporting, PG analysis, and development of QBR materials; leveraging internal subject matter expertise, when required
- Identify and unblock operational, clinical and administrative obstacles to achieve health plan enrollment and revenue goals
- Coordinate across internal Maven teams (Product, Product Marketing, Enrollment Marketing, Clinical, Client Success and Sales) to establish, maintain, and improve strong internal processes and structures to support reseller clients and programs on an ongoing basis, including marketing and sales collateral development, product communications, reporting and issue management
- Leverage and share internally operational knowledge and best practices for serving health plan partners to help build and manage new processes and dashboards that efficiently drive partner success
- Partner with key health plan stakeholders to enable and track success measurement and enrollment strategies for fully insured or embedded populations
We’re looking for you to bring:
- 7+ years of experience, with a strong background in healthcare and/or benefits
- Experience in large-scale customer relationship management, with demonstrated success in partnering with clients to achieve their goals and in retaining and growing a relationships
- Experience working with health plans, benefits consultants, benefits administrator and/or pharmacy benefit managers a plus
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex cross-functional projects
- Experience building and improving processes for high growth company
- Self-starter, curious, accountable, enjoys a healthy level of autonomy, strong work ethic; demonstrates agility and welcomes change
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to succeed while working under pressure in a fast-paced, high intensity start-up environment
- Excellent oral and written communications skills; expert listening skills
- Demonstrated problem resolution and analytical skills
- Excels at multitasking and managing multiple high-priority customer engagements at once. Expert at prioritizing one’s own work
- Comfortable engaging or leading sessions without having all the information on hand
For candidates in NYC, CO, or CA, the base salary range for this role is $130,000-$160,000 per year. You will also be entitled to variable compensation, stock options and benefits.
