About the role
- As an Analyst within the Global Treasury Team, you will play a crucial role in the group's balance sheet management.
Your responsibilities will include working with traders and other desks to optimize risk-adjusted returns for the bank. This will involve daily assessment of the balance sheet, funding/liquidity needs, understanding trading positioning, and identifying potential levers to generate value for the company. Initially, you'll be tasked with supporting and automating traders' routines, but as you gain experience and develop skills, you'll have the opportunity to take part in other strategies while gaining broader exposure within the firm.
You'll be responsible for
- Support day-to-day treasury activities, including the sizing and implementation of cash and derivative trades, portfolio optimization, P&L calculation, and trading limit control.
- Develop internal modeling and data visualization tools to support traders' decision-making processes and automate daily workflows.
- Coordinate with other teams and build strong working partnerships, primarily with but not limited to the ALM desk, Funding Desk, Finance, and Risk teams.
- Engage in ad-hoc projects related to new trading strategies, funding strategies, and solutions, among others.
We are looking for a person who has
- Experience and technical knowledge of fixed-income markets.
- Experience in designing and developing analytical tools or data visualizations.
- Excellent analytical skills, meticulous, and detail-oriented.
- Technically proficient in Python and/or other programming languages.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt – ability to deliver on a variety of topics in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English.

Our Nu Way of Working
