Blend is looking for a dynamic, self-starter to join the Accounting team. As a Procurement Operations Associate, this is an excellent opportunity to work with Accounting, Finance and Vendor Management teams to support procurement and financial operations.

How you'll contribute:
- Oversee purchase requisition requests with effective communication and a keen sense of urgency
- Create POs where applicable and provide non-PO invoice coding to enable timely and accurate invoice processing and accurate financial reporting.
- Provide end-user / stakeholder training
- Ensure accurate coding to provide meaningful reporting and identify opportunities to use data to drive business decisions.
- Design, simplify, and automate finance and payment workflows and partner on system enhancements to help automate workflows to scale.
- Driving projects that help to simplify and automate manual workflows. Actively participate in system features development and user acceptance testing.
- Act as a trusted adviser to business owners who submit purchase requisitions, and facilitate related vendor onboarding activities
- Manage and analyze vendor spend data to generate and report on key P2P metrics
Who you are:
- Recent graduate with a degree related to Procurement, Finance or Vendor Management areas.
- Strong passion for software development and eagerness to learn
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and adaptively, and take initiative to resolve challenges
