About the Role
As Envoy works to transform modern workplaces and challenge the status quo with products that make office life and work more meaningful, we want to make sure our employees have a great experience where they can learn and grow. We are looking to expand our HR team with someone who is excited about the employee experience and setting up every Envoy for success. You will partner with others on the HR team, in the People organization and across the company to ensure we have innovative and modern people programs that help Envoys meet individual and company goals.
This is a hybrid position that requires 4 days a week (Monday - Thursday) in our San Francisco HQ.
You will
- Manage tracking and documenting internal employee changes and assist in keeping our employee record systems error-free and up-to-date
- Update knowledge management tools and HRIS (Confluence, Rippling) with the latest information
- Identify procedural gaps and work with cross-functional teams to address them with the assistance and support of Global People Operations Manager
- Provide onboarding support - background check admin, I-9 completion, scheduling of onboarding meetings and training assignment/coordination, conducting benefits orientation training, onboarding stakeholder and facilitator coordination and assistance
- Administer HR Compliance Reporting; ensure compliance calendar is up to date with all relevant reporting events and up to date with completion statuses, leverage internal and external partners such as internal counsel, HR management, and Sequoia One in completing required regulatory compliance reporting.
- Oversee, wherever relevant, respond to and triage inquiries from the HR ticketing system; serve as the primary ticketing system administrator and route all questions from all avenues to the ticketing system.
- Support leave of absence tracking and documentation
- Support immigration postings and administration
- Respond to requests and provide information to third parties such as verification of employment, Social Security, assist with processing EDD disability and unemployment claims
- Work cross-functionally with recruiting, office ops, and workplace tech to ensure information is properly stored and communicated
You have
- Experience with assisting or directly configuring an HRIS to meet business requirements
- Experience with assisting or directly completing reporting and analytics of employee data and a strong desire to have this be the cornerstone of your career in HR
- Experience with assisting or building integration and interfaces
- Strong customer service acumen
- Excellent judge of moving pieces and exercising independent judgment; leveraging internal stakeholders’ knowledge and skills in a timely and relevant fashion in unfamiliar circumstances
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, planning, and prioritization skills
- Strong work ethic and a high level of discretion
- Strong organization, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills
- Eagerness and strong predisposition to learning new systems and processes

- Highly skilled at HRIS management (Rippling proficiency preferred), proficient with other data management and storage tools such as Excel or Google sheets
- A proactive and even an excessive communicator
- An exceptional writer and spoken communicator
- Highly organized & autonomous
- Comfortable and energized operating in a fast-moving organization

Compensation description
Envoy's compensation package includes market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, and great benefits. If you are located in
San Francisco Bay Area
, our expected cash compensation for this role is $95,000-$105,000 (Annually).
