Finance Manager at Fictiv MexicoAre you a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for precision and compliance? Fictiv Mexico is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to steer our growing financial, accounting, and tax management needs. Join us in a pivotal role where your expertise will drive robust internal controls, accurate financial reporting, and seamless regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities:- General Ledger & Financial Reporting: Own Fictiv Mexico’s general ledger and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.- Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance in bookkeeping, reporting, and taxation.- Cash & Forex Management: Handle cash management and foreign exchange transactions.- Process Optimization: Enhance transactional structures and workflows for local and cross-border accounting and payments.- Payroll Management: Prepare, review, and manage payroll efficiently.- Vendor Management: Review, approve, and ensure timely payments to local vendors.- Financial Close: Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.- Corporate Policy Enforcement: Advise local staff on and enforce corporate policies.- ERP Compliance: Develop and enforce compliance around order fulfillment and processing in our ERP software for customer purchases.- Main Office Liaison: Respond to inquiries from our San Francisco headquarters regarding financial results and special reporting requests.Qualifications:- Educational Background: BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in Accounting.
CPA and/or MBA preferred.- Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in financial reporting/general ledger. Experience in cost accounting or inventory accounting is a plus.- Industry Expertise: Prior experience in a product or manufacturing firm and/or a multinational company is preferred.- Leadership: Proven leadership skills and experience managing responsibilities.- Tax Authority Liaison: Experience working with business and tax authorities.- Process Development: Ability to develop written processes and procedures, and train finance and cross-functional team members.- Hands-On Approach: Extremely hands-on and detail-oriented, willing to jump in wherever needed.- Growth Potential: Able to grow responsibilities with the growth of the region.- Independence & Proactivity: Proactive self-starter capable of working independently.- Multitasking & Deadline Management: Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.- Cross-Time Zone Communication: Ability to work across time zones with US headquarters in San Francisco.- Communication Skills: Strong business English verbal and written communication skills.Physical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit, walk, talk, hear, use hands to keyboard, fingers, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, crawl, reach, and stretch.If you're ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role in a dynamic environment, we invite you to apply and become a key player in Fictiv Mexico's financial success.
