As a Sales Consultant at Collective Health, you'll leverage health benefits expertise and Collective Health product knowledge to drive forward sales opportunities by connecting directly with prospective customers and their brokers. You'll flex your talents in pitching the Collective Health experience, demoing the member and employer product, and tailoring deal-specific materials and strategies to close business. You will employ effective selling strategies to position Collective Health as an alternative to traditional TPA and benefits solutions.
You'll be at the heart of our sales organization, working closely with our partnerships, product marketing, and operations teams to succeed.The ideal candidate is driven and an excellent communicator with previous experience in sales, consulting, or benefits.
What you'll do:
- Leverage deep industry and product expertise to help pursue some of our most complex sales opportunities.
- Own specific tasks and activities as part of the sales process, including supporting RFPs, crafting deal materials and meeting strategies, and handing off closed-won business to our implementation teams.
- Analyze prospects' business goals and form strong, lasting business relationships with prospective customers and brokers founded on mutual trust and agreed on goals.
- Prioritize across sales-related, project-related, and team-related activities and tasks. Never missing deadlines.
- Comfortable presenting and holding sales-related conversations and discovery calls, leveraging presentation and consultative selling skills.
- Serve as liaison between the field and Product and Operations teams. Clearly identifying each deal's product and operational requirements.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A full understanding of sales as it relates to self-funded employer health benefits
- Outstanding communication skills and a thoughtful and collaborative approach to sales
- 2+ years of experience in consulting/brokerage, in-house HR/benefits, or Collective Health experience with a Bachelor's degree
- Understands key market and regulatory dynamics of the industry segment
- Displays strong project management skills with an attention to detail
- Passionate about Collective Health's mission to improve the healthcare experience in the US
- Proficient in Salesforce

This is a hybrid position based out of our Plano office, with the expectation of being in office at least two weekdays per week. #LI-hybridThe actual pay rate offered within the range will depend on factors including geographic location, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
