What is special about this role?


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Marketing Manager to drive the marketing strategy and execution for our diagnostics clinical platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing plans to increase brand awareness, drive product adoption, and support revenue growth.

As a Product Marketing Manager – Health Systems you will:


  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to promote our health systems and our clinical platform to health system executives, service line leads, physician champions and front-line providers.  
  • Conduct external and on-the-ground market research and analysis with our strategy team and account executives to better understand customer needs, market trends, and our competition. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, account executives, and operations to define product positioning, messaging, and pricing strategies.
  • Create compelling marketing materials including sales collateral, presentations, website content, and digital assets to effectively communicate the value proposition of our platform.
  • Plan and coordinate promotional campaigns, and educational events at health system locations and at broader events like trade shows to raise awareness and grow our customer base.
  • Utilize digital marketing channels such as email, social media, and online advertising to reach target audiences and drive engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing metrics and performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and optimize marketing efforts.
  • Stay informed about advancements in genomics technology, regulations, and industry trends to ensure our marketing strategies remain innovative and compliant.

About you:


  • Mission-oriented, with a deep passion for improving people’s lives through DNA
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, life sciences, or related field 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product marketing or related roles, with a proven track record of success in the healthcare or life sciences industry.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex scientific concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical skills to interpret data and insights into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Pluses:


  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Hubspot, and other marketing tools
  • Experience managing external agency partners
  • Strong understanding of genetic testing technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory landscape.

Physical/Mental Demands:

This role requires prolonged periods of sitting while being able to view and read text on computer screens less than a few feet away. May periodically require lifting up to 10 pounds and occasional walking or standing. May require repetitive motions that may include the wrists, hands, or fingers. May require meetings in person or via video conference (on or off-camera). Requires work in a typical office setting or may be eligible for remote work. Role also requires the ability to reason logically and make sound decisions; ability to understand, remember, and follow verbal and written instructions; and ability to perform in situations requiring deadlines. Ability to work as an integral part of a team.

There are 3 distinct parts to your Helix offer:

Expected Helix Base: $129,000 - $168,000Expected Helix Discretionary Annual Bonus: 15% of your annual salaryEquity: We offer generous equity at Helix. If you receive a Helix offer your recruiter will book dedicated time with you to educate you on our equity model.The salary range above is our reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role across US locations. Actual starting pay will be based on non-discriminatory job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level.

What To Expect During Your Onboarding Week:


We want to make sure your first week is spent learning the foundations. You will be invited to live orientation sessions and spend time with your hiring manager developing your individual roadmap to success. This experience will include sessions that cover your benefits, security & privacy training, an introduction to the OKR framework used at Helix and our communication tools and norms. 

What To Expect During Your First 90 days:


First 30 days:  you’ll spend time learning the Helix way, completing training and onboarding for your roles, and getting introduced to your team and relevant stakeholders.
