What You’ll Do
- Provide administrative and operational support for the Research Team, including:
- Work closely with our Research and Legal teams to support access to published 23andMe genomics datasets by reviewing requests, drafting agreements, and fulfilling requests
- Manage review, tracking, and sharing of scientific publications (including manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations) authored by 23andMe researchers and our collaborators
- For programs you support - track program metrics, efficiently communicate progress and issues arising, maintain program documentation, and continually search for opportunities to improve program processes
- Work with other departments (e.g., Marketing, Product) to support cross-functional collaboration with the Research team
- Organize and support team events and other team programs such as an external speaker series, team offsites, conferences, and team swag
- Work on other duties and projects as assigned
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (genetics, biology, chemistry, computer science, statistics, etc.)
- Extremely detail-oriented
- High regard for confidentiality
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects
- Experience with Google docs and calendaring
- A love for science, research, people, and learning
- Prior leadership experience (professional or other)
- Experience conducting research and reading scientific papers preferred
- A desire to foster inclusivity and community with others
- Familiarity with genetics a plus

Pay Transparency
23andMe takes a market-based approach to pay, and amounts will vary depending on your geographic location. The salary range reflected here is for a candidate based in the San Francisco Bay Area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
