Excellence is our standard and mission success is our metric. RoleChameleon Consulting Group, LLC. is seeking an experienced Security Specialist to support U.S.
Government programs. This person will be responsible for developing and implementing security policies and procedures in coordination with the Director of Security. They will manage personnel, physical, and information security requirements for SCI and SAP activities.Responsibilities
- Support multiple federal agencies with varying security standards and procedures, utilizing the NISPOM, ICDs, DoDM 5205.07 and other applicable directives, policies and procedures set forth by the DoD and Intelligence Community
- Assist the Facility Security Officer (FSO) with the overall security program.
- Maintain SCIF and SAPF accreditations, including Co-utilization coordination
- Conduct security education and training
- Assist with the development, implementation, and monitoring of security policies and procedures, to include the insider threat program
- Provide security indoctrinations, debriefings, pre/post travel briefings and annual refresher briefings as necessary
- Support personnel security actions, program accesses, and visit requests for team members as required; performs security administrative support functions in DISS, NBIS, and E-APP government systems; maintain personnel security files and CCG Security database
- Responsible for Security pre-screening of candidates, as well as post-offer security processing and personnel documentation review for accuracy prior to being submitted to the government customers
- Process SCI and SAP nominations for personnel supporting various efforts
- Investigate security incidents and submit required reports to the government
- General knowledge of COMSEC; serve as alternate account manager and support local account manager
- Customer service oriented; establish and maintain successful working relationships with both internal and external customers
- Communicate and coordinate with all levels of leadership to identify and support security needs in support of various missions
- Support physical security needs including but not limited to badge issuance, facility access control, intrusion detection, safes/locks, hardware, and doors; initiate and coordinate facility work orders/repairs
- Respond to alarm calls as necessary
- Management of contracted guard force
- Coordinate with ISSM and ISSOs for the accreditation and re-accreditation of classified IS Systems in accordance with U.S.G policies and regulations
- Participate in security program self-assessments, ensuring compliance with security regulations prescribed by multiple USG agencies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI); ability to obtain SAP Access
- 5+ years of experience in Security
- Experience with SCIF and SAPF management and operations
- Strong verbal and electronic communication skills
- Knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117, DoD 5205.07, ICD policies and regulations
- Working knowledge of DISS, NISS, e-APP, and SWFT
- High school graduate
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities Certification
- Completed COMSEC Custodian training to include working knowledge of DIAS accounting software
- Membership with a Professional Security Association
- SPeD Certification
