WHY YOU SHOULD APPLY

You’ll impact the lives of millions of future musicians worldwide and re-imagine the way we learn and play music.As a ML/AI Software Engineer, you’ll work closely with our product teams and help them succeed and find new ways to strengthen our product experience. You’ll be a part of our R&D team, where we trust you with autonomy and ownership, but where you’ll also have a team of experienced colleagues around you.
As a ML/AI Software Engineer, you see the direct impact of your own work and, together with our product teams, make learning and playing music more enjoyable and engaging for our international user base.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a ML/AI Software Engineer you work in close collaboration with our product teams and your day-to-day tasks include:
- Developing AI systems on top of large language models such as GPTs
- Utilizing a wide range of machine learning tools, including neural networks, statistical models, and retrieval/recommender systems
- Writing Python backend modules to deploy our models
- Working with data in multiple modalities, especially text, audio and symbolic music
- Prototyping and experimenting with 3rd-party tools
- Coming up with innovative solutions in the domain of music education
WHO YOU ARE
- You have solid software development skills and you enjoy learning new technologies
- You have strong skills in Python and its libraries for machine learning and data science (e.g. NumPy, Pandas, Scipy, scikit-learn)
- You have a proven track record of ML/AI projects where you have made an impact
- You are fluent in SQL for data collection and worked with databases (e.g. MongoDB, AWS S3)
- You are familiar with backend development (e.g. Git, Flask, Docker, AWS EKS)
- Basic knowledge of music and audio processing is a strong plus
- Experience with C# or C++ development and with Unity is a plus
- You learn fast, are self-motivated and get things done
