About the Role
As our Senior Account Executive, you will drive and close new business for Mux products. You will build a deep technical understanding of our products and existing customer use cases to drive growth. You will create an outbound prospecting plan to augment your business and explore new verticals and customer profiles. You are excited to jump into something challenging, highly technical, fast paced, and with a lot of room to grow. This is a building role and requires a significant level of creativity, experimentation, and resilience.
Tenacity and strong business acumen are a must.
What Youʼll Do
- Build pipeline across named top pursuit accounts in AMER via outbound. Thoughtfully build an approach strategy for each account, leverage investor networks, executive outreach, field events, and a sound BDR motion, to establish the right connections within a prospective customer’s organisation.
- Drive a culture of sales excellence. Tenaciously bring value to new customers by understanding how video can help unlock their business goals.
- Handle and grow a book of business in collaboration with Operations and Customer Success, proactively leading expansion opportunities with existing customers in our base.
- Understand our GTM strategies (and experiments), test them, providing feedback and suggestions during deal cycles to improve them.
- Work closely with Solution Engineers to resolve prospects’ technical challenges across all verticals and facilitate a solution elegantly oriented to the customer’s business need and long term strategy
Who You Are
- 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience (in a closing role)
- Proven aptitude to learn a complicated process or system (our product is very technical, you must want to learn it and have an ability to apply that technical knowledge in a commercial setting)
- Self starter with a proven track record of both creatively solving problems and exceeding sales targets
- Driven to perfect a sales motion, honing product market fit, excited to act as “first sales hire,” drafting off the momentum of a strong founder led sales motion. We have a lot of strong processes, tools, and teams in place - but you know how to take advantage of a founder or investor intro and build a relationship.

The compensation for this role is between $200K-$265K OTE. Actual pay may be dependent upon many factors, such as location, education, experience, skills, and internal equity.
