The role:
The Workspace and Employee Experience Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring our office runs smoothly while boosting our company's culture and team happiness. This dynamic role is a mix of 40% office management and facilities and 60% culture and employee engagement.You'll be in the office from Monday to Thursday, with flexible Fridays to adapt to the team's needs.
Requirements
Main Responsibilities:
- Monitor, restock and order office snacks and drinks.
- Manage all office operations, including distributing mail, greeting and assisting visitors, and ensuring the office is tidy and welcoming.
- Manage office induction and onboarding new employees.
- Develop, implement, and oversee office policies and procedures globally.
- Health and Safety representative, ensuring the office environment is safe and conducive to productivity.
- Manage all relevant budgets and expenses globally, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Map out, organise and drive PolyAI’s global social, wellbeing and diversity calendar with remote and in-person events.
- Working with the People team, implement strategies to improve morale and employee happiness.
- Plan and execute office relocations, openings, and logistics globally when needed.
- Act as the Super Admin and primary point of contact for all office providers and platforms, including Re-Defined, WeWork, TravelPerk, Slido, Amazon, and others.
Must Have:
- Experience working in a similar role in a fast-paced startup or scaleup.
- Experience managing office searches, moves and relocations.
- Self-starter, extremely organised and with impeccable time and priority management skills.
- Can-do attitude and passion for solving problems while remaining highly organised.
- Confidence to own your role and work autonomously.
- High level of emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills.
Nice to Have:
Trained Fire Marshal and First Aider, but we can provide this if not.
