REGENT is building the seaglider; the first electric flying machine that will transport commercial passengers. With a vehicle that never flies higher than a few meters off the water, we unlock the ability to fly twice as far as an electric aircraft, and certification by maritime authorities which will let us fly first passengers by mid-decade.
We are backed by the world’s best investors: the same investors who are behind SpaceX, Anduril, and Boom Supersonic, in addition to strategic investors like Lockheed Martin, Japan Airlines, and Hawaiian Airlines. We have over $8B in orders from some of the industry’s largest operators and are hard at work getting our full-scale, human-carrying prototype on the water next year. This results-oriented leader will oversee all aspects of accounting, ensuring GAAP compliance, strong internal controls, and transparent, insightful financial and management reporting.
Drawing on your experience from both Big 4 Accounting and high-growth industries, you'll be instrumental in leading the audit process, driving increased internal controls, and implementing best practices to mitigate risk and build financial transparency. This position will initially report directly to the Head of Finance. Due to the importance of this role, the pace of life at REGENT, and the communication requirements among a diverse set of stakeholders on our team, we are looking for a candidate who is ready and excited to support full-time from our Rhode Island HQ, though transition timelines will be accommodated for the right candidate. If you’re as motivated as we are to revolutionize coastal transportation and help REGENT bring a new and fully electric form of transportation to the world, then join our amazing team!
